A methodology that gives companies a way to make fewer mistakes in all their activities by eliminating disagreements before they occur. Six Sigma is a disciplined system approach that is based on working with data and facts. It is largely based on the use of statistical methods, which distinguishes it from other approaches. The general goal of Six Sigma is to handle processes so much that there will be no more than 3,4 errors per million opportunities.
