Sponsor training should reveal to the company management how to use synergy of Lean and Six Sigma approaches. Training participants will be pleasantly surprised by an approach of our experienced Master Black Belts who make the management discuss openly all the benefits and risks of Lean and Six Sigma implementation. Such an implementation way should be found that is credible in the eyes of managers and they can identify with it.
Duration: 3 days (may be two days as well)
Who are its participants? top and higher management.
The selection of suitable Lean and Six Sigma projects, Green and Black Belts and their support are key success factors and a sponzor or champion is responsible for them.
What will you learn from us?
- What Lean and Six Sigma represent and how to use them for achieving strategic and management goals;
- How to improve existing processes (DMAIC) and how to design new processes and products (DFSS);
- How to select projects with the biggest potential, how to eliminate risks and determine the project scope;
- How to create a functional infrastructure for a successful Lean and Six Sigma implementation;
- Roles in Lean and Six Sigma deployment, how to select, manage and support Black Belts and Green Belts;
- How to interpret and use outputs from statistical analyses and other tools for management decisions;
- Workshop – selection of concrete Black Belt and Green Belt projects.
Two simulation games run through the training. Thanks to them you will learn in an easy way how to combine common sense and experience of advanced improvement methods:
- Sigma Station focuses on defect elimination, acceleration of speed in administrative processes and services and on making a profit;
- Statapults are manufacturing companies where the whole process has to be managed from suppliers to demanding customers.
